Youth Making a Difference (YMAD)Studies show that pre-adolecent years are critical as youth are beginning to develop a sense of self and become more aware of their peers and social surroundings. Unique to other youth programs, YMAD focuses on the development of youth ages 11-14 with the belief that positive care and guidance during these years will enable youth to make healthy life decisions in the future. YMAD is a safe place where young people learn that they can make a difference in their homes, schools and communities while making friends and having fun! Where we workThere are 2 Junior High Outreach communities across the city:

Summer CampYMAD Summer Camp is unique from all other camps in that it aims to bring youth from 4 different communities in Toronto together for 6 weeks. This program focuses on community building, teaching sound life principles, and physical recreation. Youth have a chance to meet young people like themselves while playing sports, working on art projects, and taking exciting trips. The summer ends with a retreat away from the city where youth experience nature, team building challenges, and a lot of fun! |
