A Promise Partner is a donor who makes 2 simple commitments:
1. Give a monthly gift to support the work of UrbanPromise Toronto through a
    pre-authorized transaction from your bank account or your credit card.
2. Pray regularly for the UrbanPromise Toronto staff and the people to whom we minister.

The Bible is full of God’s promises. God’s promises definitely cause hope, create expectation and provide us with assurance. Whether it’s His promise to protect the afflicted, defend widows and orphans in their distress, or be a father to the fatherless; we see the infinite worth he places on people, especially the marginalized. Jesus’ concern for the most vulnerable of society was an undeniable demonstration of God’s compassion for the broken and hurting.
    Today, Toronto is home to the largest provider of social housing in Canada. In 350 communities spread out across the city, over 60,000 families live in neighbourhoods often plagued by drugs, gangs, guns and violence. The average family tries to make ends meet on just over $19,000 per year. For the children, youth and families living in government-housing the “promise” of a bright future can be hard to believe.
    The Good News is that God continues to deliver on His promises today and He has chosen to do it through people just like you. UrbanPromise Toronto seeks to be an expression of God’s promises fulfilled. As God resources us, we are committed to the task of restoring hope to families living in these neighbourhoods.
