Earlier this fall, our Camp Hope space began facing ongoing challenges—bed bugs, mold, pests, and areas needing renovation. Sharing the space with another service provider also made it harder to run a stable, welcoming after-school program every afternoon.
You know how important it is for kids to have a safe, steady place to land after school.
A place where someone knows their name, helps with homework, listens to their stories, and reminds them of God’s love.
That’s what Camp Hope is for so many children. And that’s why we needed a clean, consistent space where they could learn, play, and grow.
But God opened a door.
Through a partnership with Taylor Creek Public School, our kids were welcomed into bright classrooms and a gym where they can truly thrive. The Vice Principal—who once attended our camp as a child—helped open this door for us, and it has been an incredible gift to our community.
