Planned giving allows you to align your philanthropic goals with your financial and estate planning strategies. Choosing to leave a gift to UrbanPromise Toronto in your will has significant benefits. Depending on the type of asset, your gift can significantly reduce the estate taxes. There are no extra out-of-pocket costs and your current income won’t be affected.
We highly recommend that you consult a qualified professional advisor such as an accountant, lawyer or financial advisor for support on legacy and planned gifts.

Gift of Securities
When you donate publicly traded shares which have appreciated in value directly to UrbanPromise Toronto, you pay no tax on associated capital gains and also receive a tax receipt for the full market value of your gift.
For gifts valued over $3,500, please contact our office at admin@urbanpromise.com or 416-516-6121 so we can share the lowest-fee option with you.

Make a donation in honour of your loved one, and support our mission to serve children and youth in Toronto Community Housing. When donating below and complete the 'Dedication Information' section and you can send an ecard to let your loved one know of your gift.
